9th Assembly: Omo-Agege defeats Ekweremadu, emerges Deputy Senate President

Senator-elect for Delta Central, Ovie Omo-Agege appears has won the seat of deputy President of the 9th Senate.

This is as counting is still on at the election and inauguration of the 9th National Assembly.

Both Ekweremadu and Omo-Agege represent Enugu West and Delta Central Senatorial districts respectively.

As at the time of filing this report, the votes being counted are almost in favour of Omo-Agege.
