We miss you – Aisha Buhari remembers Sam Nda-Isaiah on anniversary of his death

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, on Tuesday, said the late Chairman and Founder of Leadership Newspapers and a renowned journalist Sam Nda-Isaiah, lived a memorable life worthy of emulation.

Buhari said this during the 1st memorial service in honour of the deceased at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

The first lady eulogised the courage and commitment of the deceased, especially in his quest to ensure adequate service to humanity.

DAILY POST reports that Nda-Isaiah died a year ago in Abuja following a brief illness.

“He was a true definition of a serial entrepreneur, but all that he ventured in were geared towards building and developing our nation and as a service to humanity.

“That is what enabled him to break boundaries and make friends across Nigeria and the world.

“We will remember him not only because we loved him and cherished his ideas but because of how he lived his life which impacted the lives of many people.”

She described him as a man with versatile ideas, a reliable associate and a journalist per excellence whose vision was to venture into activities that could impact positively on the lives of his people.

Buhari also used the occasion to console the wife of the deceased, Zainab Sam Nda-Isaiah.

“To Zainab, you have been very strong since Sam’s departure. Please remain strong. The children, the family, as well as his business empire and the rest of us need you now more than ever.

“We sure miss you Sam, but we take comfort in knowing that you have lived a good and memorable life,” she said.
