He wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations to my beautiful wife Precious Chikwendu Fani-Kayode on her appointment as a member of the PDP Convention Sub-Commitee on Welfare.
“You are a politician now my dear! Welcome to the club. May God guide and protect you.”
DAILY POST reports that the opposition PDP will hold its national convention in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State to pick its presidential flagbearer for the 2019 election.
The party had assured its members that the convention will be transparent and successful.
PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan said that the party had put in place strategies to carry all the aspirants along in the processes of the convention.
“We are going to hold a successful convention.
“Arrangements have been made in such that each presidential aspirant will nominate two people to be members of the accreditation Committee for we are very concerned about the process of the convention,” he said.
