EPL: Thomas Tuchel names two areas Chelsea must improve after beating Leicester City

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has identified two areas his team must improve after beating Leicester City 3-0 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Tuchel, who was delighted after securing a win over Leicester, believes Chelsea must improve more on precision and clinical.

Chelsea defeated Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, thanks to goals from Antonio Rudiger, N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic.

The result against Leicester means Chelsea maintains the top position of the Premier League table with 26 points from 12 games.

Speaking at his post-match press conference after the game, Tuchel said, “I thought we could be more precise and clinical in the first half because we played with such effort, had ball recoveries, found spaces with the ball, and, of course, a third goal would’ve decided the match almost certainly.

“With a two-goal lead, you’re comfortable, but one deflected goal, set-piece, changes everything.

“I am happy, but there is also room for improvement. The players got full praise after the match and they knew when they did a full match. It’s a huge effort we put into attacking and defending, and I’m pleased the team got the win they deserved.”
