EFCC arrests six ‘internet fraudsters’ in Benue

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, agents have apprehended six people in Benue State on suspicion of engaging in online fraud.

Dominic Onea, Daniel Ikwe, Samuel Godwin, John Sule Godwin, David Onaja Egwe, and Oche Patrick were all named as suspects who were apprehended by the zonal command in their Makurdi hideout.

They were found to be in possession of nine mobile phones (9), one laptop computer, one Zenith ATM card, one WiFi set, and one laptop charger.

The anti-graft agency further stated that legal charges would be filed against the suspects once an investigation was completed.
