BREAKING: Nigeria extends Gernot Rohr’s contract as Super Eagles coach

Gernot Rohr, Nigeria’s Super Eagles coach, will continue on the job.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed this on Wednesday

It confirmed that the NFF and Rohr have agreed to a new deal.

Amaju Pinnick, NFF President, made the announcement in a statement.

He said NFF and Coach Gernot Rohr ‘have concluded all contractual discussions and he will stay on as the coach of the Super Eagles”.

“We can now concentrate on qualifying for the World Cup and winning the Nations Cup. These are sacrosanct and Coach Rohr is aware of these conditions.”

The coach’s existing contract was to expire in June 2020.
