Consequently, the Governor directed the office of the Head of Service and the affected banks to speedily resolve the issues causing the delay and commence salary payment tomorrow, being Friday 9th August, 2019.
Ortom re-emphasized his directive to Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, of government to ensure that salary payment vouchers are ready before or on the 20th of every month.
