Kebbi State governor-elect, Dr. Nasir Idris, has called upon traditional rulers in the state to shun politics and lend their support to his administration for development. Idris made this appeal while addressing district heads of Aliero, Danwarai, and others who paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. The governor-elect emphasized the importance of their role in the state’s development.
Dr. Idris stated that his administration would do everything within the bounds of the law to ensure increased commitment to supporting the traditional rulers in Kebbi State.
Alhaji Umar Dodo, the District Head of Sabiyal, confirmed that they were at the Government House to pay a Sallah homage to the governor-elect.
