Solskjaer’s men will fly out to Southern Spain’s Costa del Sol (Marbella) on Saturday, having given their players time off this week.
According to Sky Sport, Solskjaer also left midfielder, Paul Pogba, out of Man Utd’s training squad for the France international to continue his rehabilitation from ankle surgery.
Pogba, with a fellow long-term casualty, Scott McTominay, will remain at Man United in a bid to get match fitness and be part of the squad that will tackle Frank Lampard’s side.
The 26-year-old has played for United since Boxing Day.
Speaking on Pogba’s injury, Solskjaer said recently: “Paul’s had a terrible season with injuries, and he is eager to return to action.
“He adores to play, train and I am sure about that. Pogba has been playing on his mind since he was injured.”
