Sokoto confirms 13 new cases, one COVID-19 death

The Sokoto State government has confirmed thirteen new cases of coronavirus in the State.

The State Ministry for Health made this known on Sunday.

It said the State has 45 active cases, adding that it has so far recorded eight deaths.

As at Friday, May 1st, seven persons have died of the disease in the State.

“COVID19Sokoto Update as at 11:58pm 2nd May, 2020;

“13 new cases of #COVID19 confirmed;

“Confirmed Cases = 54, Active cases = 45; Discharged = 1, Deaths = 8;

“Let’s keep praying #StayAtHomeStaySafe #MaskUpSokoto#Maintaisocialdistance,” it added.
