Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviatioan, has reacted to the death of Nigerian’s Second Republic President, Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari.
DAILY POST had reported that Shagari reportedly died at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday after a brief illness.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode commiserated with the deceased family.
The PDP chieftain described the former President as a gentle and compassionate leader.
He tweeted, “May the soul of President Shehu Shagari rest in peace.
“He was an absolute gentleman and a kind-hearted, humble and compassionate leader. We shall never forget him.”
