Nigeria’s currency okay like this – Buhari’s ministerial nominee, Uche Ogah

Uche Ogah, one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees, has declared that Nigeria’s currency was doing just fine the way it is.

Ogah who was responding to questions from Senators on whether the Naira was overvalued or undervalued during his Ministerial screening on the floor of the Upper Legislative chambers on Wednesday, said the currency was doing well and should be left the way it is, saying, “Nigeria’s currency is okay the way it is.”

Ogah’s position generated noise among lawmakers.

The ministerial screening is currently ongoing.
