Great evil has befallen Nigeria’ – Fani Kayode reacts to killing of two more Greenfield students

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation, has reacted to the killing of two more Greenfield University students by their abductors.

DAILY POST had reported that the Kaduna State Government on Monday evening announced that bandits killed two more Kidnapped students of Greenfield University.

A statement signed by Mr. Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal security and Home Affairs, said two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits were recovered.

He further revealed that the retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development.

Reacting, Kayode in a post via his Twitter handle, lamented that a great evil has befallen Nigeria.

The former Aviation Minister who described the killing as a barbaric one, also condemned the kidnap of some Benue state university students by unknown gunmen.

“Two more Greenfield University students in Kaduna have been killed by their abductors. I condemn this barbaric act in the strongest terms.

“Meanwhile some students from a University in Benue state were also kidnapped today.

“A great evil has befallen our nation. May God deliver us,” he said.
