EPL: What Mesut Ozil said after Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Burnley

Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil, has hailed his fellow teammates after their Premier League 2-1 victory over Burnley on Saturday.

Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Unai Emery’s side all three points against Burnley.

However, Ashley Barnes did score for Sean Dyche’s men at Emirates Stadium.

Ozil, who missed Arsenal’s clash against Burnley, said that the victory was a perfect start for Arsenal.

“2 games, 6 points!!! Perfect start!!! Well done #M1Ö #YaGunnersYa @Arsenal @premierleague,” the 30-year-old wrote on Twitter.

Ozil will now hope to feature for Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture next weekend.

DAILY POST had reported that Ozil also missed Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle United last weekend due to security issues.
