Former England striker, Michael Owen, has claimed Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish “has his heart set on Manchester United”.
Grealish is widely expected to leave the Midlands club, after helping them escape relegation this season.
The 24-year-old scored as Villa drew 1-1 with West Ham United on the final day of the Premier League.
Grealish enjoyed a fantastic season, scoring 10 goals and laying on eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
And although he captains his boyhood club, Owen believes the time has come for Grealish to make a move which will take his career to new heights.
“I think he’s after Manchester United as well, Owen told Premier League Productions.
“I’m told he has his heart set on Manchester United. I’d be surprised if he went anywhere else.”
