EPL: Leroy Sane speaks on leaving Manchester City for Manchester United

Manchester City forward, Leroy Sane has played down reports linking him with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Sane, whose contract with City will end in 2021, has been heavily linked with a move to United in recent weeks.

The German international has been a regular starter for Pep Guardiola’s side this season.

The 22-year-old has, however, insisted that he would never leave the Premier League champions for the Old Trafford club.

“That won’t happen! That won’t happen (joining United),” Sportsmole quoted Sane as saying.

“That won’t happen at all. I am really happy here and I’m on the right side!”

Sane has so far scored three goals and provided four assists in 13 appearances for City this campaign.

He will hope to feature for City when they take on Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League fixture on Wednesday night.
