EPL: Guardiola reveals his fears after Man City’s Champions League ban

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is worried their Champions League ban will affect his players’ futures at the club, ESPN reports.

UEFA handed City a two-year ban from all European competitions on Friday.

The Premier League champions were found guilty of “overstating its sponsorship revenue in its accounts” and failing “to cooperate in the investigation” and fined €30million.

They will now be excluded from competing in the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons

Guardiola is ready to stay at the Etihad in spite of the ban “as long as he is happy”.

However, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach understands why some players would want to leave.
