BREAKING: Makinde sacks commissioners, advisers, others in Oyo

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has sacked some of his commissioners, DAILY POST gathered.

DAILY POST gathered that the sack of the commissioners is coming two years after they were appointed.

Our correspondent gathered that the commissioners were appointed in 2019.

The announcement was made few minutes ago during the state executive meeting in Ibadan held on Tuesday.

Also affected in the cabinet reshuffle are special advisers, assistants and other aides.

DAILY POST gathered that the termination of the appointments of the state executive council and all government appointees take effect from today, July 29.

Our correspondent gathered that the Secretary to the State Government and the Chief of Staff, Olubamiwo Adeosun and Bisi Ilaka were retained by the Governor.
