Some critics of the President Muhammadu Buhari government and political pundits have seen the distribution of money to traders by Osinbajo as a way of buying their votes ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The Vice President has been visiting various markets in different states in the country of recent, where he gives the money which is the federal government’s project to assist traders with small loans.
In a post he shared on his Twitter handle on Saturday, Sani stylishly warned trader moni beneficiaries against allowing their votes being bought over.
He tweeted, “Oh yea plebeian, collect thy belated cowries coined as ‘trader Moni’; thou shalt use it with wisely and prayerfully; But thou shalt not part with thy PVC and thou shalt not accept any invitation to flyth the Broomstick at night.”
