Cazorla played for the Gunners for six years and won two FA Cups during that time.
The Spaniard, who was a fan favourite amongst the Emirates Stadium faithful, was hit by a career-threatening injury late in his Arsenal career.
Cazorla eventually moved back to Spain, where he currently plays for Villarreal.
The 35-year-old has previously expressed how sad he was, to have not had a chance to properly say goodbye to Arsenal.
The club’s head of football Raul Sanllehi, speaking at a fans’ forum, said he is close to Cazorla’s agent and that they are talking about a possible return.
