Guehi made his senior Chelsea debut in their Carabao Cup win over GrimsbyTown last September.
The Blues made this known in a statement on the club’s official website on Friday.
The statement reads: “Marc Guehi has today completed a loan move to Swansea City for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
“The defender, 19, made his senior Blues debut in our big Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town back in September, playing alongside Kurt Zouma at centre-back, before a further cup outing in the next round against Manchester United.
“He has also represented England Under-21s this campaign and recently signed a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.
“Guehi has been at Chelsea since the age of eight and progressed through the ranks with distinction.
“He featured regularly for the Under-18s as we won seven trophies in two seasons between 2016 and 2018, while this term he has captained our table-topping development squad to an unbeaten first half of the league campaign.”
