Transfer: Real Madrid offer Bale in swap deal for Man Utd’s Pogba

Real Madrid are eager to include Gareth Bale in a potential deal for their number one target, Paul Pogba, Marca reports.

Zinedine Zidane has made clear his desire to sign Pogba from Manchester United this summer and has urged the club to land his compatriot.

However, United are reluctant to sell their prized asset, unless their £150million valuation is met.

Madrid have so far refused to meet that price tag and are planning to propose a player-plus-cash offer, with former United target Bale a player the club are hoping to use to try and sweeten a deal.

The Premier League were linked earlier in the summer with a move for Bale, but recently have distanced themselves from signing the player.

Zidane has already told the Welshman he does not feature in his plans for next season.
