Transfer: Man City overtake Man United to land Guardiola’s first summer signing

Manchester City have overtaken Premier League rivals, Manchester United in the race for Juventus defender, Joao Cancelo.

Pep Guardiola’s side have agreed on a five-year-deal with the Portugal international to leave Turin for Etihad.

This claim was made by respected transfer expert and sport journalist, Nicolo Schira, who works for Gazzetta dello Sport.

Schira disclosed this on Wednesday evening through his official Twitter page.
