Transfer: Dani Alves’s new club revealed

Dani Alves is set to sign a three-year contract with São Paulo, according to Goal France.

The 36-year-old is now a free agent, after leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Alves captained Brazil to triumph at this year’s Copa America which they hosted.

He has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester City and a possible return to Barcelona.

However, he has now apparently chosen a chosen to his native country, to end his career.

Speaking on his future recently, Alves said: “Now I’m free, but I still have a lot to accomplish in my career.

“The only thing that I can say is that the club that sign me will sign a true champion.”
