Transfer: Buffon completes shock return to Juventus

Gianluigi Buffon has completed a shock return to Juventus on a one-year contract.

The legendary goalkeeper is back with the Bianconeri, after one season in France with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Buffon had left Juventus at the end of the 2017/2018 season after 17 years.

The 41-year-old has decided not to retire and will earn a basic €1.5million plus bonuses.

However, this time, he will be second choice behind Wojciech Szczesny.

Buffon made just 25 appearances for PSG across all competitions.

His previous spell with Juve saw him collect nine Serie A titles and four Coppas Italia.
