Transfer: Ajax finally agree deal to sell De Ligt

Ajax have agreed a transfer fee with Juventus over the sale of Matthijs de Ligt, the UK Mirror reports.

De Ligt has been linked to a number of top clubs including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Liverpool this summer.

But the Serie A champion have apparently won the race for his signature.

It is understood De Ligt had agreed a contract with Juve, which would see him earn £10.8million per season.

The amount equates to around £230,000 per week and is nearly double what Paulo Dybala currently earns in Turin.

The only thing holding up the transfer was the two clubs agreeing on a fee, prompting De Ligt’s agent Mino Raiola to call on Ajax to make the deal happen.
