Former CNN presenter, Piers Morgan, has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo could join eternal rival, Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi’s rivalry with Ronaldo got to its peak when they both played for Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, in Spain.
However, Messi has ended his 21-year association with Barca this summer, leaving as a free agent to sign for PSG.
With Kylian Mbappe’s future up in the air at the Parc des Princes, it has led to speculation the Ligue 1 club could move for Ronaldo, who is believed to be unsettled at Juventus.
“I’m told this could actually happen…and if it does, I’m moving to Paris for a 2-year sabbatical from Arsenal,” Morgan tweeted.
Ronaldo released a statement on Tuesday night, slamming speculations surrounding his future.
