Rohr speaks on team Super Eagles will face next

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has disclosed that he wants his team to play an African opponent in their next friendly in October following their 2-2 draw against Ukraine last week.

Rohr’s men will take on Benin Republic and Lesotho in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers fixtures later this year.

”I saw the other teams playing two games, Benin played two games, they won against Ivory Coast, they lost 1-0 in Algeria on penalty,” Rohr told the Super Eagles Media Team.

”We only had one game, I hope that we can have two games in October to prepare well for the qualifiers against this very good Benin team, who were one of the surprises at the AFCON eliminating Morocco, don’t forget, it won’t be easy to beat them.

”But now we have found a good young team again with four new players. They are all doing very well”.
