PSG: Mbappe provides first assist for Lionel Messi

PSG have released a clip of Kylian Mbappe providing an assist to Lionel Messi in training.

The video gave the club’s fans a mouth-watering glimpse of what’s to come this season.

Messi seems to have already struck up a good relationship with Mbappe following his free transfer to the French giants.

Barcelona parted ways with the 34-year-old earlier this month, citing some serious financial challenges and the Argentine officially signed a two-year deal at Parc des Princes last week.

He has already started training with his new team-mates, including Mbappe, who is said to have requested a move away from the club.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are, however, hopeful the Frenchman would stay at the club and partner Messi and Neymar in the attack. And the pair have seemingly already struck up a good relationship on the training pitch.

The French giants posted a video on their social media channels showing Mbappe setting up his new team-mate to score in a practice drill.

In the video shared by the French side, 22-year-old Mbappe can be seen performing a step over to get past a defender before playing in Messi, who takes the ball in his stride before finishing calmly past the goalkeeper.
