Osimhen rushed to hospital after scoring against Monaco, Lille gives update

Lille have confirmed that Victor Osimhen is back to normal, after a health scare during Tuesday’s French League Cup game against AS Monaco.

Osimhen had opened scoring in the 19th minute, before he was taken off after complaining of chest pain.

The Super Eagles striker was replaced by Loic Remy and rushed to a hospital.

Remy got two more goals as Lille won 3-0 at Stade Louis II.

After the game, Lille manager ‎Christophe Galtier, allayed fears that Osimhen may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

“We just talked to him, he’s fine. Everything is back to normal. He experienced dizziness and pain,” Galtier told Canal+.
