LaLiga: Barcelona overtake Real Madrid on top of table after Mallorca shock

Barcelona are now top of LaLiga, following Real Madrid’s shock 1-0 defeat at Mallorca on Saturday night.

The Spanish champions beat Eibar 3-0 in the early kick-off, to keep pressure on Zinedine Zidane’s men.

Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez all scored for Barca, in the victory that has now seen them overtake Madrid on the log.

Los Blancos failed to keep the top spot, after they lost 1-0 to Mallorca in the late kick off.

Lago Junior netted the only goal of the encounter in the first half.

Barca now have 19 points, one more than Madrid.
