Hauwa Liman: Atiku’s running mate, Peter Obi reacts to Boko Haram’s killing of aid worker

The running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, has reacted to Boko Haram’s killing of an aid worker with the International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC, Hauwa Liman.

Recall that the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, a faction of Boko Haram had executed Liman, on Monday.

The terrorists, however, promised to keep Leah Sharibu, one of the Dapchi schoolgirls who is still being held captive in their custody and turn her to their slave.

Reacting to Liman’s death, Obi berated the Federal Government for not meeting the deadline by the insurgents which has now resulted to her death.

In a tweet, he further described the current Federal Government as irresponsible and insensitive.

“My heart and prayers are with the families of Hauwa Liman, an aid worker who was killed by Boko Haram.

“It’s devastating to know that the government was given a deadline prior to her killing and nothing was done. Sadly, another life has been lost to an irresponsible and insensitive government,” he tweeted.
