A 400 level student of the Kogi State University, Anyigba has been gunned down.
According to a source from the school, the student was in an exam hall when unknown gunmen invaded and gunned him down.
It was gathered that he was shot at the faculty of management sciences, Banking and Finance Department.
Efforts to confirm the incident from the police could not be ascertained as the Kogi State Command Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, William Aya said they are yet to be briefed on the incident.
Similarly, the authorities of the University could not be reached to confirm the incident as the time of filing this report.
