Man Utd was dumped out of the competition by West Ham on Wednesday further extending their search for a trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Angered by the result, Manchester United fans took to social media to demand the sacking of Solskjaer with ‘Ole out’ trending last night but Parlour offered some words of calm for the club’s supporters.
Parlour believes that the Red Devils will end up winning the bigger trophies such as the Premier League or the Champions League this season.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane who were brought in the summer to help the club win some trophies this season were missing last night’s cup game.
“I think #MUFC will be looking at bigger trophies than the Carabao Cup,” Parlour tells talkSPORT.
“They’ll be looking at winning the League when you buy players like Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho!.
