EPL: Man Utd take decision on signing Ighalo’s replacement after talks collapse

Premier League giant, Manchester United, has reportedly decided to make another attempt to bring striker, Joshua King back to the club, according to Sky Sports.
King came through Man United’s academy but has made his name at Bournemouth, scoring 48 goals in his five seasons with the Cherries.
The Red Devils made a £20 million bid for King on transfer deadline day in January, but it was rejected, and they moved to sign striker, Odion Ighalo, on a six-month loan deal from Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will have to battle four of the Premier League’s top six clubs for the signature of King.
This is coming after Man United’s attempts to extend Ighalo’s loan deal at Old Trafford collapsed.
Ighalo’s loan deal at Man United will expire in a week’s time.
DAILY POST had reported that Ighalo’s parent club, Shanghai Shenhua, has rejected United’s requests to keep the Nigerian striker at Old Trafford for another three months.
Shenhua has asked Ighalo to rejoin the Chinese club to prepare for the start of the delayed season.
