Arsenal want Lucas Torreira’s former midfield partner, Dennis Praet, as Aaron Ramsey’s replacement this summer.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Unai Emery’s side are willing to make a €20million move for Praet at the end of the season.
Torreira played alongside Praet during his time at Italian side, Sampdoria.
Ramsey will leave Arsenal at the end of the season to join Juventus.
The 28-year-old has agreed to a four-year contract that will see him join the Serie A champions as a free agent, ending his 11-year spell with Arsenal.
The deal will see him earn over £400,000 a week, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo who gets £500,000 a week.
