EPL: Evra reveals those to be blamed for Man Utd problems, expects Pogba to leave

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, has said the club’s problems stem from players who don’t know why they are there.

He is expecting the club to have a summer clear-out.

Defeat at home to Cardiff on Sunday, condemned United to a sixth-placed Premier League finish and Evra believes a number of players will depart Old Trafford this summer as a result.

After suffering abuse from fans after the final whistle on Sunday, Evra says he expects Paul Pogba to be one of a number of players to leave during the transfer window.

“I don’t want to blame all the players because I think that some players are here (at United) and they themselves don’t even know why they are here.

“I think (Pogba) will leave, because you need to feel the love when you play somewhere, you need to be committed.

“If Paul decides to stay another year and then leave, or stay another few years, maybe the fans will love him because he is committed.

“It’s not like I am protecting Paul but when there are incidents like yesterday with the fan, they are killing Paul,” Evra told Sky Sports.
