EPL: Alan Shearer names clubs that’ll finish top four this season

Premier League legend, Alan Shearer has predicted English Premier League, EPL, clubs that will finish in the top four this season.

Shearer believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United and Unai Emery’s Arsenal are going to miss out of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this campaign.

According to him, Chelsea and Tottenham will join Liverpool and Manchester City in the EPL top four this term.

Asked to name the two teams who will make up the final top-four places, Shearer told Optus Sport: “Probably Chelsea, only because of the lack of form from the others.

“We’re sat here talking about Manchester United and the first thing we talk about tonight [after the defeat to Man City] is: at least they put the effort in.

“That’s how bad Manchester United have fallen – we’re praising them because of their attitude.

“So because of that reason and because Arsenal have got two away games, and they’ve been hopeless away from home, Tottenham are in and probably Chelsea.

“I would expect Man United to win their last two games against Huddersfield and Cardiff but I still don’t think that will be enough.”
