Champions League: What Valverde said after Barcelona’s 0-0 draw with Slavia Prague

Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde, has admitted the team is in a rut, after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

It comes days after a 3-1 defeat in LaLiga to Levante.

Lionel Messi hit the crossbar in the first half, but that was as close as Barca came to scoring in the Group F clash.

“The other day we lost against Levante and we know this was not one of our best games either.

“We haven’t been convincing either on Saturday or today and we know there is a lot of pressure now on the team. We have to respond,” Valverde told reporters after the match.

Barcelona play Dortmund at home next and will be hoping to seal qualification before they take on Inter Milan at the San Siro.
