Champions League: Bayern coach speaks on Coutinho’s performance after 3-0 win over Crvena Zvezda

Bayern Munich manager, Niko Kovac, has hailed midfielder, Philippe Coutinho following his impressive performance in his side’s UEFA Champions League 3-0 win over Crvena Zvezda on Wednesday.

Kovac believes Coutinho, who joined Bayern from Barcelona on loan in the summer transfer window, has brought “another dimension” to his team.

Goals from Kingsley Coman, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller gave the Bundesliga champions all three points against the visitors at the Allianz Arena.

“Coutinho played a really good game and with his football intelligence he brings another dimension to our game,” Kovac told Sky in Germany after the match.

“I think we can be very happy. The team has been very focused and we scored three goals, that’s befitting,” he added.
