Belgium vs Italy: Courtois criticizes Lukaku, others after Euro 2020 defeat

Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has criticized his teammates, including Romelu Lukaku, following their Euro 2020 quarter-final 2-1 defeat to Italy on Friday night.
Courtois said Belgium players gave Italy their first goal too easily.
The Real Madrid goalkeeper added that Roberto Martinez’s men had just two opportunities during the encounter, insisting that Italy deserve to win the match.
Italy defeated Belgium at Allianz Arena to qualify for the last-4, thanks to two goals from Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Insigne, as Lukaku’s goal was not enough.
“This hits hard, but we knew it was going to be a tough game,” Courtois said at his post-match press conference after the game.
“We had two opportunities, but their keeper made a good save and I think we gave the first goal away a bit too easily.
“It really could have gone either way, but Italy deserved to win here.”
