Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has expressed his gratitude to Manchester United’s supporters, after receiving a warm welcome upon his return to the club on Tuesday.
Ronaldo was back in Manchester, as Juventus outclassed the Red Devils 1-0 in the Champions League.
The Portugal captain was involved in Paulo Dybala’s winner, sending in a right-wing cross that found the forward off, a combination of Chris Smalling and Juan Cuadrado.
“An important victory in a very emotional match for me. It was great playing at Old Trafford again.
“Thanks to all the fans for the reception and support,” Ronaldo posted on Instagram.
