The committee consists of nominees from outgoing Governor Malam Nasir el-Rufai and governor-elect Senator Uba Sani. Balarabe Abbas Lawal, the current Secretary to the State Government, will chair the committee, having held the position in 2015 and served as vice-chairman in 2019. Nuhu Isyaku Buzun, the Permanent Secretary for Cabinet and Political Affairs, will act as the committee’s secretary. The committee’s inauguration is expected to take place shortly.
