Ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmakers in the upper and lower legislative houses of the National Assembly on Tuesday met at the Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.

Addressing the lawmakers, the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole explained that the meeting of National Assembly members on APC platform would be a continuous exercise.

He clarified that the meeting was not all about the impeachment of the Senate President as erroneously believed in some quarters, stressing that there were serious national issues the party should be discussing from time to time.

Oshiomhole, however, insisted that the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki would be impeached through the legal process.

“The lawmakers’ caucus will continue to meet to deliberate on issues affecting the party and I want say our meetings are not all about impeachment.

“There will be impeachment of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, but we will follow constitutional process,” he insisted.
