The Bengaluru City Police in India has said that it has arrested one Sunny Innocent, a Nigerian and nine others for drug trafficking.
The Bengaluru Police said that the suspected peddlers who purchase drugs through the internet platform darknet and pay using bitcoin were arrested after officials busted their drug racket.
The police said Sunny and the others accused receive their consignment via the postal department, then proceed to sell in bars, schools, colleges, pubs and rave parties.
According to the Official, N45.97m worth of drugs such as 660 Lysergic acid, diethylamide (LSD) papers, 386 methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) tablets, 12 grams of MDMA crystals and 10 grams of cocaine powder were seized from the suspects.
