Ogenyi Onazi will not feature for the Super Eagles in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nation qualifier against Libya on Saturday, due to an achilles injury.
Head coach of the team, Gernot Rohr, revealed this in a chat with The Cable.
Rohr said Onazi got injured during a closed-door training the Eagles had on Thursday.
“He is injured.
“He won’t be able to play against Libya tomorrow. He’s got achilles problem,” the German said.
The Super Eagles will play against the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
