Minority Leader in the Gombe State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Haruna has decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Haruna announced his defection during Thursday’s plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Nasiru Abubakar Nono.

According to Daily Trust, he said he decided to join the PDP because of the existing division in the Gombe State chapter of his former party, and the injustice meted out to him by the party leadership.

Haruna further claimed that the APC unjustly suspended him four months ago and denied him an opportunity to defend himself.
