Boss Mustapha says alleged attack on own village by Boko Haram, bandits is mischievous

Mr. Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), insists that there is no attack launched on his hometown, Garha.

Mustapha spoke on Wednesday after a meeting of Hong Secondary School Old Boys Association in Hong, Adamawa State.

The SGF declared to the press that the news was false and “some people’s mischievous imagination”.

He recalled attending weddings in Garha when his attention was drawn to the reports.

Mustapha added that apart from his village, he visited neighbouring villages for marriage ceremonies.

The official accused “mischievous persons” of trying to portray the Buhari administration in a bad light.

“Why associate the report with the village of SGF?”, he asked.

“If there’s general insecurity, there’s general insecurity and SGF village will not be spared from the insecurity.”

Mustapha assured that the government is working hard to contain insurgency and banditry to restore order in affected states.
