Attack on Adamawa Village Leaves Four Dead and Property Destroyed

Four people were killed, and property was destroyed in an attack by armed men on the Dabna community in Adamawa State, Nigeria.

According to local residents, a group of gunmen on motorcycles stormed the village early Monday morning, firing their weapons while looting drug and foodstuff stores. A vigilante member reported that four civilians were killed in the attack, and one of the assailants was also killed during an exchange of fire with local vigilantes. However, the attacker’s body was taken away by his gang members.

This incident follows a previous attack on Dabna by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in July 2021, which resulted in multiple fatalities.
