Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, on Thursday cautioned politicians ahead of the 2015 general elections.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain warned that Nigeria was sitting on a keg of gunpowder.

In a tweet, the former Minister said politicians have been blinded by their lust for power and can’t read that there was imminent danger ahead.

“The question is not who will win the election in 2019 but rather whether there will be an election at all.

“The politicians, blinded by their lust for power, cannot read the writing on the wall or comprehend the unfolding script. Simply put, we are sitting on a keg of gunpowder,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.
